What does a Buy Limit order mean to a forex trader? Replied 2 months ago - A buy limit ( aka buy stop limit) is a pending order you set when you want to buy when price is falling. It is different from a regular buy stop order so dont confuse the two. A buy stop order means buy when the price drops to my desired price but if for some reason price gaps/jumps over my specified price, dont buy at a lower price. This is kind of limiting right? A buy stop limit means buy when price drops to my specified price but if price gaps over my soecified price, still go ahead and fill my order in at the next lower available price than what I specified. I dont think MetaTrader has the buy stop limit (they only have the buy stop) but I use cTrader and I have attached a screenshot from cTrader showing you their buy stop limit, which is vry cool.

Does FxPro have TradingView? Replied 2 months ago - The FxPro connection to TradingView is very unstable. It keeps logging me out in the middle of a trade then asks me to reconnect but to do so it sends an OTP to my email and the OTP always arrives 5 minutes late or more. So between the time I am locked out of my TradingView and the time I regain access over 15 minutes would have passed and this caused me losses. I had to complain to FxPro about the unnecessary 2FA security feature which requires me getting a code sent to my email every time I am locked out of my TradingView. They said nothing could be done about it so I had to stop using the FxPro TradingView and I switched to trading directly from their cTrader web platform.

what is noise in trading? Replied 2 months ago - Noise on your chart refers to those candles that do not hold enough information to matter. For example if you are trading on a one-minute time frame how much useful information can a one-minute candle give you? When you trade on a noisy chart, the tendency for losses is higher because you will see what looks like a buy candlestick pattern only for price to start falling after you enter the trade. But noise exists on all timeframes, just that it is more prevalent on smaller timeframes.

are forex signals on telegram really profitable? Replied 2 months ago - Signals are not bad but how can you be sure the person giving you the signal knows what he is doing? Many of these signal providers have partnership deals with brokers where they earn commissions when they refer you to trade with these brokers. This conflict of interest can make the signal provider send you a high risk signal because they want you to trade a bigger lot size so they get a bigger commission. I dont do signals but if i must subscribe to signals I will ensure the person giving me the signals is not benefitting indirectly from my trades. There should be no conflict of interest. Ask yourself this: did your signal provider ask you to register with a particular broker? if your answer is yes then run.

What is The Difference Between PCE & CPI ? Replied 2 months ago - I reckon the PCE considers both direct & indirect expenditure of US residents. So it's not just what the US resident spends at the mall that is taken into consideration but also bonuses, healthcare benefits etc. that accrue to that person. Whereas CPI narrows it down and focuses strictly on what the US resident spends directly from his pocket. So, when the Federal Reserve is looking for an inflation guage, they go for the PCE because of its broader approach to calculating inflation.

what factors affect natural gas prices in the uk Replied 2 months ago - Wind farms are built in/on the ocean and they generate electricity and transmit/distribute it to homes to power their heaters. These wind farms depend on strong winds so when the wind speed in the ocean slows, the electricity output declines causing residents to resort to using Nattural Gas to heat their homes thus this increased demand for gas drives up the price.

When the Nasdaq stock exchange is open, you get lower spread and more direction in the market, so from 5:30 pm is the best time to trade NAS100 in Kenya for best results.
