No wonder they say its a slow pair, since 6 am it has moved only 10 pips

Learn to embrace the market conditions. And observe the instruments you are trading. EU has always been like this atleast for a few years.

Moreover, with a big event like FOMC EU always has a tendency to knock into a tight range.

Price went all the way up and reversed back to my entry. And this is one of the frustrations I have with EUR/USD, just its lack of volatility and the tendency to reverse direction indiscriminately

You traded the first blue bar out of the range in frankfurt.

4 out of 10 times these can form days high lows. It is the correct approach that will make money in the long run.

There is a big option expiry at 500 and I had actually gotten into my short positions during the Pre-Frankfurt session. Then price suddenly started going up and I had to cover some of the shorts to free up more margin. So now price has started going down again lets hope it goes to TP. My TP target is below the option expiry at 1.1500

I am so happy about the news yesterday, giving us a clear direction

TP reached

Although I made some profit I am not really happy with the way I traded today. At the start of the short trades, I over-leveraged because I was so confident that price was gonna push don to 500 without any drama. But suddenly price started pushing upwards and I had to close the positions with the highest loss to avoid a margin call. I lost 5k on that closure alone. After price exited the upper Asian range and formed the bearish engulfing, I went short again but closed the trades when price started reversing from pre-low (silly of me). The reversal from pre-low failed and another bearish engulfing formed and I went short again and rode that one to profit. The drama was just too much

Yes, and you know when your first trade of the day ends in a loss, it changes your risk mood

Like on my first set of trades I was almost facing a margin call so I had to close the trades with the biggest loss to free up margin. That move cost me 5k. So, that loss changed my risk outlook because I was nearing my daily loss limit

Sure, but the secret is rest for an hour or two, comeback look for a correlative pair of that one you made the lost from and trade it, 90% of the time I trade base on correlation

I've decided to be trading only EUR/USD when it comes to currencies. Most of these currencies are correlated so you can end up wasting your time with them. I would rather trade EUR/USD during London, and Indices/commodities during NY

The correlation am talking about you won't trade them you will use them to identify the moves on EU, now there are times EU lags and there are times it moves faster but you will know if it will sell or not if you correlate it I don't really know how to explain it very well
