This is why I don't want to become the trader who changes his strategy after every loss.

One loss โ†’ change strategy.

Another loss โ†’ change strategy again.

Eventually, you're not trading a system.

You're trading your emotions.

The goal is to build a model, execute it, collect data and improve it.

Another takeaway from today's GBPAUD trade:

News needs to be part of my pre-trade checklist.

Not because news makes technical analysis useless.

But because high-impact fundamental events can create volatility that completely overrides short-term technical setups.

Before taking a trade, I need to know:

What can move this pair while I'm in the position?

XAUUSD (Gold) BUY

Entry: 4,484.09

SL: 4,471.95

TP: 4,562.68

Gold buy just went live ๐ŸŸก

Trend is bullish. Price engineered liquidity below before reacting from demand โ€” exactly the kind of move I want to see before buying into a trend.

๐Ÿ“ Entry: 4,484.09 ๐Ÿ›‘ SL: 4,471.95 ๐ŸŽฏ TP: 4,562.68

Same process, different day.

Why I bought Gold this morning ๐Ÿ‘‡

1๏ธโƒฃ Bullish trend already established on higher timeframes 2๏ธโƒฃ Price pushed down to engineer liquidity below recent lows 3๏ธโƒฃ Reaction confirmed from a demand zone 4๏ธโƒฃ SL below the demand low, TP at the next external liquidity level

๐Ÿ“ Entry: 4,484.09 ๐Ÿ›‘ SL: 4,471.95 ๐ŸŽฏ TP: 4,562.68

Buying with the trend, not against it.

What does "engineered liquidity" mean on this Gold buy?

Price didn't just drop randomly โ€” it swept below a level to trigger stops and trap sellers before turning right back into the bullish trend. That reaction is what gave me the demand entry.

๐Ÿ“ Entry: 4,484.09 ๐Ÿ›‘ SL: 4,471.95 ๐ŸŽฏ TP: 4,562.68

Smart money moves price to where liquidity sits, then trades the other way.

Trend intact, no reason to touch anything yet. Letting the position work while the structure remains valid.

On this Gold buy โ€” bullish trend, entry from engineered liquidity into demand โ€” how would you manage it once price clears the recent high?

A) Move SL to breakeven B) Hold the original SL to full TP C) Take partials and trail the rest

๐Ÿ“ Entry: 4,484.09 | ๐Ÿ›‘ SL: 4,471.95 | ๐ŸŽฏ TP: 4,562.68

Same process on Gold as on every forex pair I trade โ€” wait for the liquidity move, wait for the reaction, then execute. No shortcuts because the asset changed.

๐Ÿ“ Entry: 4,484.09 ๐Ÿ›‘ SL: 4,471.95 ๐ŸŽฏ TP: 4,562.68

The process remains the same. That's the whole point

Structure, liquidity, and demand/supply reactions work the same across markets. This Gold buy followed the exact same logic as any EURUSD or GBPAUD setup โ€” just a different chart.

Adding Gold to the mix alongside the forex pairs this week. Same read on liquidity, same entry criteria, same risk discipline.

๐Ÿ“ XAUUSD โ€” Entry: 4,484.09 | SL: 4,471.95 | TP: 4,562.68

One process, multiple markets. That's how you scale a strategy without reinventing it every time.

XAUUSD (Gold) BUY

Entry: 4,484.09

SL: 4,471.95

TP: 4,562.68

Valid buys. But follow up closely, as price is reacting to a higher timeframe resistance level at 4500.
After those impulsive moves yesterday, price will possibly consolidate a bit before resuming its next move.
I'll wait to see a breakout from either side of this range.

Price stopped me out on BE on this Gold buys

I'll suggest you wait for a good structure shift on 15mins. And price will likely consolidate before its next move.
