AUDCAD is currently showing the kind of structure I want to see before looking for buys.

Price swept lower levels → shifted structure → displaced higher → continued printing higher highs.

Now I'm interested in the retracement.

The idea is simple:

Let price come to me.

AUDCAD Buy Limit

Entry: 0.98783

Stop Loss: 0.98693

Take Profit: 0.99259

Risk: 1%

Potential: ~5.29R

I'm not interested in predicting every candle.

I have my level.

If price reaches it, It'll execute according to plan.

If it doesn't, I let it go.

The target sits around 0.99259, where price could potentially seek the previous external liquidity/high.

But before that happens, I need to see the retracement hold.

That's why my invalidation is clearly defined at 0.98693.

Bullish thesis above that level.

Invalidated below it.

Simple.

Second trade of the day: AUDCAD BUY LIMIT.

I'm taking this setup because the higher-timeframe narrative is now bullish and the lower timeframe is aligning with that direction.

I'm not trying to catch the exact bottom.

I'm waiting for price to retrace into my level and give me asymmetric risk.

0.98783 → 0.99259

Let's see what the market does.

AUDCAD has already taught me a lesson this month.

Last week, I was on the wrong side of the move.

This week, I'm not trying to force the old narrative.

The market is printing higher highs, structure is bullish, and I'm looking for buys on retracement.

EURGBP is showing a bearish shift.

Price pushed into liquidity, printed a strong high, then rejected and broke structure to the downside.

I'm not chasing the sell.

I'm waiting for the retracement into my POI.

Sell Limit: 0.85716

SL: 0.85768

The EURGBP setup is straightforward.

Price swept liquidity around the highs and failed to continue higher.

Instead, we got strong bearish displacement followed by a break of structure.

Now I'm looking for the retracement before entering short.

One of my favorite setups:

Liquidity → Sweep → Displacement → BOS → Retracement.

EURGBP has given me that sequence.

The market doesn't need to give me the entry immediately.

I'll let price retrace into my level and come to me.

EURGBP printed a strong high before the sell-off.

That high becomes important because liquidity was sitting around the previous highs.

After the sweep, sellers stepped in aggressively and broke the previous structure.

For me, the narrative has shifted bearish.

Now I wait.

Price is currently retracing after the bearish displacement.

This is exactly what I want to see.

I don't want to sell after a large move down.

I want price to come back into my POI, give me the risk-to-reward I want, and then continue lower.

Patience is part of the setup.

EURGBP taught me something important today:

A strong move isn't necessarily an entry.

The displacement confirms the direction.

The retracement gives me the opportunity.

That's why my sell limit is sitting at 0.85716 instead of me market-selling the current price.

Let price come to me.

If price reaches the entry, I'm in.

If price never reaches the entry, that's perfectly fine too.

There will always be another setup

I'm targeting 0.85557 on EURGBP.

The idea is for the bearish momentum to continue after price retraces into the sell zone.

Structure has already shifted.

Now I'm simply waiting for price to give me the entry.

Risk is defined before the trade is taken.

That's the game.

Why this level on Gold 👇

Price has been trading in a higher range, and this buy limit sits at a key zone below current price where I expect a reaction if the bullish structure holds.
