I took a long trade on gold during New York after price broke out of the pre-ny range and started reversing bac into it

The New York session started by 1 pm UTC+1 and I marked out the pre-ny hour with a yellow box. Price broke out of the box, tried to reverse in and failed then created a bearish engulfing sell pattern. I have gone short
