Although I don't actually trade Asia, because that sweep occurred during Asia session, newyork can decide to do something different

Price finally swept that Asia level, waiting for the break below the swept level setting my limit by tomorrow, if price breaks below and stays below the level

JP225 β€” Higher-Timeframe Outlook πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

JP225 is presenting an interesting bearish narrative.

On the 1H, price rallied back into the 66,500–66,800 supply region, interacted with internal range liquidity (IRL), and was aggressively rejected.

With price now around 65,350, sellers clearly have control of the immediate move.

The question now is whether this develops into continuation toward the lows.

JP225 β€” Liquidity Map

The liquidity structure is what interests me most here.

There is liquidity sitting around 66,500+, but price has already reacted sharply from that upper region.

Below, the major draw sits around 63,700.

If bearish order flow continues, that lower liquidity becomes the level I expect price to seek.

JP225 1H Analysis πŸ“‰

Price returned into the marked 1H supply/POI around 66,500–66,800 and sellers responded with strong displacement.

That's exactly the type of reaction I want to see from a meaningful POI.

Now I’m watching whether the market can continue forming lower highs and lower lows toward 63,700.

JP225 β€” 30M Structure

Dropping into the 30-minute chart, the bearish reaction becomes even clearer.

Price pushed into the upper POI, failed to sustain itself there, and sold off aggressively toward 65,100.

That displacement tells me sellers are active.

I’m not interested in chasing the move, though. A retracement would offer much better information.

JP225 β€” What I'm Waiting For πŸ‘€

My preferred scenario isn't simply selling because price has dropped.

I want to see a retracement first.

Ideally, JP225 retraces upward, creates liquidity during the pullback, and then provides another bearish structural confirmation.

If that develops, I'll start looking for continuation toward the lows.

JP225 β€” Possible Retracement Before Continuation

Price has already made a substantial bearish move from the upper supply.

Because of that, selling at 65,300 without confirmation could mean entering after much of the immediate move has already occurred.

I would rather see price retrace toward 65,900–66,400, show weakness, and then reassess the sells.

Patience gives me better positioning.

JP225 β€” The 63,700 Low Matters

The ~63,700 region is one of the most important levels on my chart.

On the broader structure, that low remains a major liquidity objective.

If JP225 confirms bearish continuation after the current retracement/consolidation, this is ultimately where I would expect price to be drawn.

Liquidity gives price a destination.

JP225 β€” Bearish Scenario πŸ“Š

My current roadmap:

Current price: ~65,360

Potential retracement: 65,900–66,400

Major supply: ~66,400–66,800

Bearish objective: ~63,700

I don't need price to follow this exact path.

I need the market to give me structural confirmation before putting risk behind the idea.

JP225 β€” Invalidation Matters

A bearish bias doesn't mean I'm permanently bearish.

If price recovers strongly, trades through the upper supply and begins accepting above the 66,700–66,800 region, I would have to reassess the short-term bearish idea.

The chart determines the biasβ€”not attachment to a prediction.

The setup I'm tracking is straightforward:

Bias: Bearish

HTF POI: Upper supply

Reaction: Strong bearish displacement

Current location: ~65,350

Plan: Wait for retracement + bearish confirmation

Draw on liquidity: ~63,700

Price has already shown me that sellers are willing to defend the upper region.

Now I want the market to retrace, give me a clean confirmation, and potentially offer an opportunity to participate in the next leg lower.

No confirmation, no trade.

Price failed to break below the targeted low on Gbpusd and that invalidated the sells idea and I entered a buy position after assessing the level

Lucky for me i entered after much deliberation.

I saw the buy on eurgbp I got my limit set since yesterday but price hasn't triggered yet

The compelling reason i took the buy was because of the liquidity above

Definitely buyside liquidity will be taken but it's just slow and my entry wasn't triggered at all
