EURGBP TRADE UPDATE 📊

I took partials on my EURGBP buys as price pushed higher.

I was actively trailing my stop to protect the position, and the retracement eventually took me out of part of the trade.

The key thing I'm watching now is the supply above.

Buyers reacted well from demand, but supply is still in control.

EURGBP gave me a decent reaction from the demand zone and pushed higher as expected.

As price expanded, I started trailing my stop and eventually secured partial profits.

I'm happy to protect what the market has already given me.

The strong high remains intact, so buyers haven't fully taken control yet.

EURGBP — SUPPLY STILL HOLDING

The buy worked, but look at where price struggled.

Right back underneath the supply responsible for the current bearish structure.

That's why I'm not automatically expecting price to continue higher.

Until that supply is broken and the strong high is taken, sellers still have a structural advantage.

WHY I TOOK PARTIALS

I didn't take partials because I suddenly became bearish.

I took partials because risk management changes as the trade develops.

EURGBP had already moved significantly from my entry, so I trailed my stop and protected some of the position.

Never let a good trade unnecessarily turn into a full loss.

DEMAND REACTED, BUT…

The demand did its job.

EURGBP rallied aggressively from the zone and gave the buy a solid move.

But demand reacting doesn't automatically mean the entire market has turned bullish.

Price still has to deal with the supply above.

For now:

Demand reacted ✅

Bullish expansion ✅

Supply broken ❌

Strong high taken ❌

EURGBP STRUCTURE UPDATE 🧠

This is where understanding structure matters.

Price bought strongly from demand, but the broader bearish structure hasn't been invalidated yet.

That strong high around 0.8597–0.8598 remains protected.

Until buyers can take it, I'm respecting the supply controlling this range.

TRAILING STOPS > HOPING

Once EURGBP moved in my favour, my job changed from finding an entry to managing risk.

I trailed my stop as price expanded and eventually took partials.

Could price still rally?

Absolutely.

But I'm not going to leave secured profit exposed just because I want the market to reach my ultimate target.

This is getting interesting.

Demand produced the reaction I wanted, but supply has responded again.

Now I want the market to show its hand.

If buyers eventually take the strong high, I'll have much stronger evidence of bullish continuation.

If supply continues holding, the weak low around 0.8570 remains vulnerable.

I'm reacting, not predicting.

PROFIT PROTECTED. NOW I OBSERVE. 👀

EURGBP buys gave me an opportunity to secure partials while trailing my stop.

Now I'm back to observation mode.

The market is essentially sitting between:

🔴 Supply / strong high above

🟢 Weak low and demand below

I'm not forcing another position in the middle.

I'll wait for structure to reveal the next high-probability move.

EURGBP is back on my watchlist today.

Despite yesterday’s bullish reaction, the bigger picture hasn’t changed for me. Supply is still in control, and price is now trading back into an area where I’m interested in sells.

I’m looking for bearish continuation from here. 📉

Yesterday I managed the EURGBP buy aggressively and took partials because I knew price was still trading underneath supply.

That decision is making even more sense now.

Price has failed to establish sustained bullish order flow, so my attention has shifted back to the sell side.

EURGBP 1H tells the story clearly.

Price previously expanded bullishly, but since reaching the higher supply, buyers have struggled to maintain control.

Until that supply is properly invalidated, I have no reason to become aggressively bullish.

My EURGBP sell idea:

Entry: around 0.8587

SL: around 0.8590

TP: 0.8568 area

I’m selling from supply with the expectation that price continues lower toward the external liquidity below.

Execution depends on price respecting the zone.

One thing I’ve learned is that a profitable countertrend trade doesn’t automatically mean the market bias has changed.

I made money buying EURGBP yesterday, but that was a reaction from demand.

Now price is back near supply, and the underlying bearish narrative remains intact.

Adapt to price, not your previous position.

The 15M EURGBP structure is what interests me most.

Price has already shown bearish displacement/BOS and formed a strong low around 0.8581.

If supply continues to hold, I expect that strong low to eventually become vulnerable as bearish order flow develops.

Target remains around 0.8568.

EURGBP sell plan 📉

Entry zone: 0.8587 – 0.8590

Invalidation: Above the supply zone

Main TP: 0.8568

I don't need to predict every candle between entry and target.

I simply need my structural conditions to remain valid.

There’s also liquidity sitting above current EURGBP price.

So I’m not ruling out a push slightly deeper into the supply before the bearish move develops.

That’s why confirmation matters.

A POI tells me where I want to trade. Price action tells me when.

My EURGBP thesis is straightforward:

Supply remains in control → price retraces into supply → sellers defend the area → bearish structure continues → liquidity below becomes the draw.

If price invalidates the supply, I’m wrong.

No attachment. No fighting price.

EURGBP is one of those setups where patience matters more than getting the perfect entry.

I already know my area.

Sell: ~0.8587

SL: ~0.8590

TP: ~0.8568

Now I want price to confirm that sellers are actually willing to defend the supply.

If the confirmation comes, I execute. If it doesn't, I stay out. 📉
