What is a bearish candle?

A bearish candle often shows that sellers have more pull than the buyers in price action and also, it means that closing price is higher than opening price.

What is the difference between a bearish and bullish candlestick

Bullish Candle:

The closing price is higher than the opening price. It’s usually green.

This means buyers were stronger than sellers during that period, so price went up. It shows buying pressure.

Bearish Candle:

The closing price is lower than the opening price. It’s usually red.

This means sellers were stronger than buyers during that period, so price went down. It shows selling pressure.

What is the difference between a bearish and bullish candlestick

A bullish candle forms when price closes higher than it opened. It tells me buyers had control in that period.

A bearish candle forms when price closes lower than it opened. It tells me sellers had control in that period.

Bearish Candle:

This is when the market closes lower than it opened.

It means sellers stepped in and pushed price down. It shows momentum to the downside.

Bottom line: The candle color tells me who won that period. But I still need to check the structure to know if it matters.
