Candlesticks can generally be grouped according to what they tell us:
1. Bullish Candlesticks π’
These show that buyers were stronger than sellers, so the price moved upward.
Examples:
Bullish candle β closes higher than it opened.
Hammer β small body with a long lower wick; can suggest buyers are stepping in after a fall.
Bullish engulfing β a large bullish candle covers the previous bearish candle.
