Day 4 Trade Journal (1) (Thur, 13th August)

Asset- GBPAUD
Trade Type- Long Setup Update

Idea/Approach- I followed up the buys of yesterday, during Asian session after seeing price didn't close below Tuesday's low but only traded below it that yesterday. I entered the buys at the Tuesday's low's price region and exited when price took out yesterday's high by 6am today.
This is the Day-trading Strategy I'm working on; Let's see If I can use it to pass the Account.

Checklist:
a) Validation of Bullish channel on Daily
b) Major Support Level that confluences with the D1 Channel
c) Invalidation of an intraday bearish channel (1hr/4hr)
d) Potential Normal/Inverse Head and Shoulder Pattern formation on MTF or LTF

Execution - Instant
Analysis TF- D1/4hr/1hr/15mins
Entry 1- 1.9110
SL - 1.9115
TP - 1.9302

Comment: This was my first trade today, but I've closed out. Profit $693.50.
The trade was up about $750 in profit, but when I saw price lacking momentum to break above 1.9145 resistance, price level, I exited the trade. price sold after.

Day 4 Trade Journal (2) (Thur, 13th August)

Asset- GBPCAD
Trade Type- Long Setup

Idea/Approach- I Spotted a Daily Channel and price is at a Key Support region that confluences with the Trend Support, on the 4hr, I spotted a pattern. Then on the 15mins I spotted a similar setup just like in GBPAUD. so, I entered buys. 2 positions

Execution - Instant
Analysis TF- D1/4hr/1hr/15mins

Entry 1- 1.8817, Entry 2- 1.8816
SL - 1.8790
TP - 1.8910

Comment: This was my 2nd trade setup today.

Day 4 Trade Journal (2) (Thur, 13th August)

Asset- GBPCAD
Trade Type- Long Setup Update

Checklist-
a) A Daily Bullish Channel
b) Key Support region that confluences with the Trend Support,
c) 4hr bullish Crown Pattern.

N/B: After the Buys, got carried away by sleep, the second position was after I woke up, and I also spotted;
d) Validated 1hr Bearish Channel
e) 15mins Bearish Crown pattern

Execution - Instant
Analysis TF- D1/4hr/1hr/15mins
Entry 1- 1.8817, Entry 2- 1.8816
SL - 1.8790
TP - 1.8910

Comment: After holding this trade for 4hrs and price has not left my entry, I re-assessed the trade setup. Then I realized I was about repeating the same mistake I did in GBPAUD trade yesterday.
I spotted my entry was at the right shoulder of the 15mins Bearish Head and Shoulders pattern, and price was struggling to break above the region.
I Learnt from my mistake and closed the positions instead of waiting for it to drop down to add positions expecting it to buy back.

The setup was exactly similar to GBPAUD trade I took yesterday that got the account into drawdown, but this time, The buys I caught on GBPAUD around 1am before entering GBPCAD, has covered the losses, with extra profit on top.

I've exhausted 3 positions already this morning from my trading plan. 2 more to go for the day and I'm done. Will be looking for setups to trade during New York session.

Risk to reward is okay 1:1

There is still time to improve win rate, cut losing trades early

Thank you, sir. I'm just building, fine-tuning, and adjusting the day-trading strategy. will just keep the risk at 0.5% instead of risking up to 2% of the account, since It's not a swing-trading strategy.

Thank you, Sir!
Still fine-tuning the day-trading strategy. Yesterday It was 1:3, but the losses affected it drastically. Youn can compare both dashboards. I'll just go back to keeping my Risk Low henceforth.

Like i said the win probability was very low

Yeah. That's right. I'm not really trusting the sells on EURUSD, except it pulls up to a reasonable supply zone to continue the sells. watching this setup.
Looking at an entry level at 1.1544 and SL at 1.1550
