I just took a trade on it

Nice one Gee. lol. smart move. I didn't carefully analyze mine.
would have re-joined, but I'm done for the day. Will find a better setup tomorrow or follow it up and wait for an entry (@1.9101) and SL @1.9072 tomorrow close to yours, if price returns to it.

I had this same setup but I deleted my order because of CPI

CPI came and met me Inside the trade. Funny enough, it's not CPI that took me out of the trade.
I was just heavy on my Lot sizes, and tight on my risk, and I didn't carefully plan the trade.

will look for entries at the 1.9100 price level tomorrow.

That's better

Yeah. There's no point chasing price, when the market will still be there tomorrow.
Losses can always be recovered as long as you have a good trading plan, risk management and trading edge.
Will just go back and focus on NAS 100. My strength is stronger on Indices than currencies, and today Nas 100 has been on buys.
Entries for the buy would have been at 29548. and SL below yesterday's low @29447

Good that youre stopping for the day

Yeah. Market will always be there tomorrow. So, no need chasing after price.
After I got stopped out, I spotted this setup. But because of my Trading plan, I'll have to wait for it tomorrow.
My entry will be at 1.9100 and my SL at 1.9072.

I have decided to avoid trading during news

It's a good decision.
My own decision has been never to be scared of news. They are always catalysts to technicals, not antagonists.
I can trade on news days, but I don't trade the news.
Like this EURUSD sells- I gave up on the setup because it was dragging, yet the news even came and validated it strongly.
Would have had a good entry at 1.1560, SL at 1.1589.

Day 3 FTMO Dashboard Summary (1b)

Still in Section 1, when the trades where in profit, the Account graph showed the Equity was up.

Observation: In some props, the line showing equity, and the one showing your account balance are usually different. The distinction usually helps to know your highest/lowest equity, before you closed your trades in profit or loss for that day, but FTMO Account graph, doesn't differentiate it, only shows one line that represents both.
With 2 lines, it usually shows your Equity Curve without running trades, but FTMO doesn't show equity curve after your trades are closed, just your balance graph.

Day 3 FTMO Dashboard Summary (2)

Section 2: this section shows running trades, the number of pips, number of hours the trade has been running. But once trades are closed, it doesn't show anything again. You can find the trade results in section 4 under trading Journal-closed trades.
From the images, it shows that I had the first two GBPAUD trades running for 7hrs+ but the last one was just almost 1hr.
Also from the stats, it shows I didn't go above 53 pips in all the 5 positions. that's another defining factor for my risk. 50pips is the highest for currencies, if I'm risking based on number of pips, and not money.
