Price is actually ranging at this point

Yeah, It is. and I think it's next week that it'll break out of the range. meanwhile, 1.9113 is an entry level for sell if price gives a good sell confirmation.

I don't understand why and where it's selling from

check out this bearish markup, if it will give you a clue from your market angle. Price is protecting the highs and breaking the lows, so there's possibility of pushing to break the low at 1.9000 or form a double bottom there.

Yeah saw almost the same thing on GBPAUD. I just had to set BE as price was behaving anyhow

Will still follow it up tomorrow. GBPCAD and GBPAUD are looking similar. Seems it's because of GBP.
If price breaks back above 1.8794 and retest it, I'll join the buys with SL below today's low at 1.8775, and TP at 1.8818

I had to wait for price to confirm the sells continuation before I set my limit

confirmation really matters, with how the price is just behaving. it has started consolidating on 15mins. If it breaks above my entry, then It'll get to your entry. But I won't be interested in it again

It broke above my entry at 1.1531 retested it and use it for buys. That's why I said I'll lose interest in the sells once it invalidates my entry without confirmation. Price didn't break below NFP day low, it swept below it, still protecting it.

Did you sell. Has the trade triggered yet

No, I didn't. Price broke above my Sell entry at 1.9113, and I entered Buys instead at the retest of the entry Level after the 4hr bullish engulf with my SL at 1.9091.

Yes there is. Those buys I took were internal buys(short term). Price should break out on the lower time-frame so I can have an entry

I'm just suspecting the buys will be next week. This is where we must not lose sight of the Weekly bias and Overall picture. Despite all the drama throughout the week, Price is still bound to the 1.9089 H-support level that confluences with the bullish trend support, with the intention of forming a double bottom.
A swing trading approach would have been better, but since we're adjusting to day-trading to trade the account, we have to take profit or loss daily.
I had a position yesterday, would have held till today or next week, but I closed out in lose. I've opened another one. I've by 6pm it doesn't give me profit, I'll close for the week, and go again next week.

Day 3 Trade summary on the Account.

I took 1 trade setup on the Account today

GBPAUD- Buys
Total number of positions- 5
Lot size- 1.0 (2 positions) 2.0(3 positions) total- 10
Total Risk- 2%
Profit Target-5%

Comment: I realized my mistake. I didn't carefully analyze the trade and determine a proper entry for it. I sighted the daily bullish channel, and the trade looked good for a buy, and I joined, without carefully looking at the intraday bias which is bearish.
After my entry, I realized I was entering from the right shoulder of a bearish Head and shoulder pattern which signalled for a Sell, not a Buy.

I didn't want to close out the trade, so I intended to add position when it sells down to the support, which it did after CPI. But because my Lot sizes where heavy, I had to tighten my risk and keep all 5 positions at max 2% risk. Eventually, the trade Hit my SL. Now It's reversing, but that's all I'll be trading on the account today.

Sticking to my trading Plan and Rule is much more important.
And one of my Core rules is once I've maxed out my positions for the day, I'm done trading for the day. (Max 5 positions per day).

There will always be a better trade Setup tomorrow. so, no need for revenge trading.

EOD Account Balance: $98,047.07

Profit: -$2141.98
Swap: -$0
Commission: -$40

Day 4 Trade Summary on the Account

I took 2 trade setups on the Account yesterday

GBPAUD-Buys and GBPCAD Buys

Total number of positions- 5
Result- 4 loses, 1 profit

Comment: I closed the day in a loss, despite securing profit of $584 earlier during Asian session.
New York session trades, stopped me out, taking back my profits for the day.
I didn't have need to trade during the New York session, but since I have max 5 positions a day, I re-entered GBPCAD buys and GBPAUD buys. GCAD hit SL, while I closed out GBPAUD.

EOD Account Balance: $97,926.83
Profit: -$40.24
Swap: -$0
Commission: -$50
Total: -$90.24

N/B: The Last image (phone mt5 screenshot) is a mistake. Selected tuesday (US100 trades), instead of thursday result.
