The silver trade by now should have recovered all your losses

Yes. It recovered the loses yesterday and FOMC came and put me in drawdown again that yesterday (-4%) both my running trades and the trades I took yesterday is what summed up to 17 trades in total.
But I've recovered everything back today and I'm 1% up with only 4 trade positions.

I took 4 trades today. 2 positions on Gold, 2 positions on Silver.
Silver is still pumping, if I was still holding, would have been 2% up. I took Gold as well.
So, both Gold and Silver Buys recovered the loses and I had planned on holding them till TP to pass the phase, but as I saw gold start its drama, I just closed the profit. Yesterday's experience was enough. let me take profit and rest tomorrow is another day.
Gold and Silver will continue pumping cause the bearish consolidation phase is over, and price is ready to continue its rally. I'll look for re-entries tomorrow or next week.

DAY 3 Trading Summary 1 (Wed 16th Sept 2026)

Yesterday, the running trades on XAGUSD recovered my losses (-1.5%) and gave +0.6% on the account when I closed the trades in the morning. From $98400 the Account was back up to $100,670.

During London Session, I re-entered XAGUSD and had it running till FOMC.

And during New York session, I took GBPCAD sells (profit), EURUSD buys (loss), GBPUSD buys (loss). The account was on breakeven as at when I closed these trades.

FOMC took out my SL in XAGUSD and the account is currently at -$96,049.10 (4% down)

Observation: FundedNext Charges swap and it is very high and they allow news trading.

Day 3 Trading Summary 2 (Wed 16th Sept 2026)
I took 4 trade setups yesterday.
EURUSD (buys), GBPUSD (buys), GBPCAD (Sells) and XAGUSD (buys).
A total of 17 trade positions was recorded yesterday. 5 trade positions were carryovers, while 12 trades where the actual trades I took.
EURUSD- 1 position (loss) less than -0.2%)
GBPUSD- 1 position (loss) less than -0.1%)
GBPCAD- 1 position (win) 0.25%)
XAGUSD- 14 positions (carryover included) (win + loss = -2%)

Yesterday's Closing Account Balance: -$96,000 estimate. (-4%)

Comment: Yesterday was really a great lesson day for me. I started the day good, but ended it bad, because I couldn't discipline myself to stay away from the market after taking profits on silver trades I carried over the previous day.
It felt like the day was still long to sit without trading because I took profit since 7am in the morning, and I had a whole day ahead of me. So, I had decided to revisit the Silver trade setup and since I was still convinced the buy potentials were still high probability, that's why I reentered. I held all throughout the day till FOMC that came and turn the tides around. Price reversed just immediately it took my SL at first it felt like stop hunting, but I realized it was not. The re-entries were impatient entries, and the lot sizes was not really fitting for that current price level and that didn't allow enough room for me to place my SL properly. After that loss, subsequent positions were emotional trades I had to shut down charts and look for mobile games to play and go out to look for food to eat Just to take my mind off the losses because staying on the chart was making me FOMO and revengeful. That's why the losses where that deep.

My lesson from yesterday's experience is to ensure to use the right lot size for re-entries and to tune it down when I know there's an upcoming news release, irrespective of my confidence about my bias. The buys I was expecting yesterday is what we saw today and I'm glad I didn't miss it despite those losses yesterday.

Observation: The only features that shows traders performance on FundedNext dashboard is Profit Factor, Win rate, Avg profit/loss ratio (RRR), total trades and account balance.
FundingPips is the richest in traders' performance features compared to FTMO and FundedNext.
And those features especially the likes of behavioral bias and session win rates can help you know where your strength and weakness are and areas that needs more improvement and more concentration to stay on consistently on your trading edge.

This is an amazing work, you have done well bro, that's the plan, no much trade take at least 2 or 1 for a day on a single pair or two pairs that focus will help you rather than jumping from one to the other

Thank You. I'll ensure to keep to the discipline. just that somedays will always be more tempting to deviate than others. But everyday is always an opportunity to get better in the skill.

This is a good start, continue with same plan, if you do well they can give you an account to pay later if only they have such options because GFT has it

Thank you I'll keep up with the plan.
I know GFT has a -$5 account that if you trade and pass, then you can later pay up the full amount of around $50 to $60 dollar depending on the account size though.
But I've not seen that kind of feature in FundedNext.

Swaps and hidden fees are one reason day trading remains more profitable than swing trading, brokers can just manipulate the swaps and slam it on you; lets not even talk about overnight gapping

This is very true. I'm beginning to understand now the advantage and disadvantage of day trading and swing trading on prop firms. The system is not designed to favor swing trading. And for day trading, they know not everyone has that mental capacity to be sitting on chart every day without getting burnt out, eventually, you can pressure yourself in the long run and lose the accounts.
It's just a win-win for them.
