What was your experience with Headway Broker like?

I just got my Headway MT5 account verified, they accept National ID Card & International Passport as means of ID. If your address is not on your means of ID you need to send them a proof of address document.

For me I submitted my drivers license as proof of address The Headway account verification process took about one hour to complete.

So far so good I have not had any bad experience, but let me trade with them and see how honest they are with the spreads then i will update you guys here.

I used Headway for copy trading, and i like how they integrated copy trading into the client area so seamlessly.

You can also become a strategy provider if you have a minimum deposit of $100, they just require you to fill a form & create a strategy and that's all, it's pretty straight forward much better than i expected.

Not a bad experience, I am in Nigeria & have been using Headway broker for some months now; their minimum deposit is N2,000 (about $1) and the deposit time is instant.

I got a 75% bonus on my deposit & they created an online wallet for me so i can choose to transfer funds i am not using for trading, into the online wallet where it will be safer.

Headway spreads are quite competitive, on eurusd i usually get around 0.7 pips spread during the Pre-London session, which is okay. However, Headway broker lacks enough account base currencies as only USD & ZAR account currencies were the options available to me when opening my account.

Headway broker minimum withdrawal here in Nigeria is also N2,000 (around $1.3), which is okay for the average trader. The withdrawal time in instant when i use local bank transfer method.

I like the security features they have in place, for example they generate a new password for your MetaTrader every time you log out and want to log in again. You can also adjust your account leverage & top up your demo account balance from your personal area which is very convenient

Headway broker rejected my withdrawal for flimsy reasons. They want me to withdraw the same amount to the same bank account i used to deposit. This is annoying because most brokers will allow withdrawals to any of your bank accounts so far as it carries your name. Headway recommend that you use only one bank account to be funding your trading account which is an inconvenience

I still have two pending withdrawals which i had to initiate again after they were declined. I dont think Headway is a reliable broker because they are making it hard to withdraw funds.

They have finally approved my withdrawal after a lot of back and forth. Here is what i think, Headway makes withdrawals more difficult than deposit which is bad so i am not going to trade with them again after this bad experience.

Headway broker is only regulated for those in South Africa, I don't think they place traders outside South Africa under any sort of regulation, so they are high risk. I once traded with them and although their spread was moderate (around 1 pip for eurusd) and their execution speed was okay, i had to stop using them because their regulatory status outside South Africa wasn't clear.

I once traded with them and didnt really have any issues that an email couldnt fix

Withdrawal issues every time, when i try to withdraw they tell me i am offline even when my data is on. But, after some waiting i tried again and the withdrawal went through so I think they should fix this issue especially on their mobile app so they do not delay withdrawals

Headway broker has an FSCA license but I dont think this license authorizes them to operate outside South Africa. This means anyone trading with Headway from outside South Africa, is technically trading with an unregulated broker. This is part of the reason i stopped trading with headway.

I suggest they get an offshore license so that traders from outside South Africa can have some form of protection

My experience was that any time i deposit directly into my Headway Online Wallet, I do not get any bonus on deposit but when I deposit directly into my MT5 trading account, i can opt to get a deposit bonus. I dont know if you guys have noticed this.

I don't see anything wrong with their services, Headway is still relatively new & they are actually more reliable than most of these big-name brokers.

I enjoy using Headway because they are very affordable; $1 minimum deposit and $1 minimum withdrawal is as affordable as it gets. The spread is also okay by me so that's about it!!!

Their mobile app can lock you out and you wont be able to login for hours. It will just tell you there is no network. I experienced it with their mobile app but it doesn't happen on their MT5. Apart from that, their services are okay and withdrawals are treated quickly.

I registered with headway on the very first day that I wanted to start trading with my phone but then, I realized I couldn't trade properly with my phone . So, I decided to get a new battery for my laptop and fixed it in order to trade with. Just this morning, when I wanted to commence trade with my account balance of N1900 , I discovered that the money in no longer there ! I tried to recover it in vain .

I said it earlier on this thread that Headway does not place Nigerian accounts under any regulation, so it is risky depositing money with them. You should contact their customer service agent via live chat to ask where your money went!

I tried trading nfp with them today, but their mt5 just froze after nfp release and i was not able to get in to place my trade. after about 30 minutes i was able to trade but the nfp volatility had died down. I also noticed Headway wiped off my little account balance of around $0.04 i checked the account history and the debit was described as "compensation". They are not a trustworthy broker stay away !!!
