Why is My Stop Loss Triggered Without Price getting To It?
Replied 8 months ago -
always set your charts to show bid price and ask price lines. If you are short it means you entered at the bid price and will have to exit at the ask price. This means when the ask price line (the upper of the two lines in the image) reaches your stop loss it will be triggered.
If you were long it means when the bid price (the lower of the two lines in the image) reaches your stop loss it will be triggered.

anyone benefitted from tiger brokers promotion & bonuses?
Replied 8 months ago -
I got some rewards such as commission-free trading after I opened a Cash Boost Account (CBA). With the CBA you get a 20,000 SGD credit limit which you can use to buy US, HK & SG shares even without using your own money.
However, you must pay in mthe money into your account or sell off the shares before the clearing settlement period expires.
I was able to buy some shares and when I noticed the price had gone up, I sold them before the settlement period expired so I didnt use any of my money.

Tiger brokers has 1:4 leverage so with 1 SGD you can open a trade worth 4 SGD but you need to open a margin account with them to do this. This margin account can be opened in SGD, USD or HKD account currency so you avoid paying fees for currency conversion.

cTrader or MetaTrader Which Is Best for a Beginner?
Replied 8 months ago -
cTrader has better features but in the hands of a beginner, cTrader can do more harm than good because it is too complex and is like flying a jet vs flying a conventional plane.

Replied 8 months ago -
I tried some other prop firms before coming to apex and what I like about them is that there is no drawdown limit and once you achieve th profit target they specified for your plan, you automatically become funded on your first try (they call it one-step evaluation).
