FTMO Free Trial Challenge with Nse

Why did you opt for the MT5 platform, rather than cTrader?

Nice one, FTMO has done well to allow free trials

Day 1- FTMO Challenge

Here's an overview of my Dashboard. I've not placed any trade yet. I'll wait for New York session, before I start trading on the account.
Here are my core trading Plan for the Account

>max 2% risk
> Per Trade profit target $2,000 avg
>Position target max 5 per day
> Min Lot size 0.5
> Max Lot size 5

These are my 5 basic trading plan/rule, I love working with ranges, rather than fixed rules. Only Fixed rule is max 2% risk.

Why did you opt for the MT5 platform, rather than cTrader?

The cTrader platform freezes alot

Isn't the daily risk a bit much

Just asking

I'm not setting it as a daily risk per trade.
By Max 2% risk I mean I can't go beyond 2% per trade. This is to allow room for me to adjust my SL if I want to swing a trade overnight or over the weekend.
This will accommodate weekend gaps, or stop hunts during peak market sessions.

Today's Trade Journal (Mon, 10th August) (2)

Asset- AUDUSD
Trade Type- Short Setup
Trade Expectation: Saw a break below 0.7060 price level flip zone and expected a retest at the level for a sell down to 0.7004 price level, filling up the momentum candle and possibly react from the demand for a buy.

Execution: Instant
TF- 4hr/1hr/15mins
Entry 1- 0.7062
SL - 0.7074 (12pips)
TP - 0.7004 (24pips)
RRR- 1:2rrr

Comment: Trade is currently running in loss. I later spotted that the 4hr bullish channel has not been invalidated, before I entered. So, price is still bullish and i might have to hold till tomorrow. This became my first trade on the account.
