Wait for a market structure shifts before taking the sells

Still waiting.

Price is now in a consolidation phase.
I'm watching out for a break above 20700 which will signal long opportunities or a break below 29500 which will signal short opportunities.

NAS 100 Trade Setup
Trade Type: Short
Execution: instant
Entry: 29358
SL:29509

Trade Idea: price flipped the internal zone from support to resistance, I joined on the retest of the level after spotting a bearish engulf on LTF.

Added a second position
Entry: 29395
SL:29421

I've closed out on my short positions.
Reason: The LTF breakout is a fake out on the zone on 1hr because the last 1hr didn't closed below the zone, but above despite it traded below it.
Entry: 29358.6.
Exit: 29442.8

I'll be reassessing the trade setup again. This time, I'll wait on 1hr or 4hr and won't use the 30mins or 15mins to avoid being trapped by price.

I'll wait for invalidation of the trendline resistance so I can go long since price has refused to break below the zone at 29445 to continue the bearish move.
I'll set a buy limit once price invalidates the trendline resistance.

Are you still holding? You added another position after price showed a reversal?

I've closed out after I spotted a 1hr reversal candle. what I saw as break out on 15mins, was a fakeout on 1hr.
Entry price:29358
Exit price: 29437

Entry Level loss.

The sells I was looking for is now kicking in. Today that I was looking at just catching scalps instead of my normal 4hr duration trading. This is quite frustrating.
I'll just leave it be till New York open.

NAS 100 Trade Update
the 4hr candle also did not close below the price level at 29445 despite trading below it just like the 1hr handle traded below it but closed above it.
I've executed long at the zone.
Entry: 29438
SL: 29061
I'll be holding till 6pm closure.

You should have waited for the next 4hr candle to show an engulfing before you take the trade

the next 4hr can possibly give me the move I'm expecting and by 6pm I'll be out of the trade.

Just manage your risk well

Surely. That's always priority.
I'm low on my risk on NAS100 because it has not broken above 29,720 key resistance price level. I'm joining the rally to that level to see how price will react at that price region, that a break above it, and price will be targeting 30100 external resistance level.
