My experience trading with Tickmill Replied 2 months ago - Tickmill Declined My Withdrawal They declined my withdrawal after making me wait for 2 working days. The reason for declination was I have to withdraw to the exact account i deposited from. This is very inconveniencing, and I didn't expect this kind of rule from a broker of Tickmill's status. Several brokers don't have this rule and if you deposited via bank transfer, they allow you withdraw to any bank account so far as the account is in your name. I Re-Initiated The Withdrawal & They Approved It Immediately I had to restart the withdrawal process, this time i put the exact account i used to deposit. To my surprise, Tickmill approved the withdrawal within seconds of receiving it.

is kwakol markets a scam in nigeria? Replied 3 months ago - They are unregulated and to add salt to injury, their website has been taken down. I would avoid them if I were you. There are so many legit brokers operating in Nigeria that nobody should lose money to an unregulated broker.

Is Deriv Legally FSCA Regulated in South Africa? Replied 3 months ago - Not a recommendation but AvaTrade is good for fixed spread and I use them. I also use Trade Nation for trading currency pairs because their spread is low.

Is Robinhood an investment or trading platform in the UK? Replied 3 months ago - Robinhood is for investing and trading, but you cannot trade forex with them. Their product catalogue is very limited; you can only trade equities and options. Their customer service is a joke so beware.

Are there any Real ECN Brokers in South Africa? Replied 3 months ago - When we say a broker is an ECN or STP broker, it doesn't mean they will not offer standard accounts where spread is the only trading fee. ECN/STP brokers offer both zero-spread accounts (where spread starts from 0.0 pips and you also pay a commission per trade) and standard accounts (where spread is higher but is the only trading fee you pay). When a broker is not an ECN/STP broker, their account types will be only standard accounts meaning spread-only accounts for example look at a broker like XM none of their accounts charge commission, so they are an example of a market maker.

How do ECN brokers differ from STP brokers? Replied 3 months ago - ECN and STP brokers operate using the same model of sending your trade directly to the counterparty and not through a middleman. However, the ECN broker has better order management in that they can merge several small orders together for faster execution, while the STP broker sends every order individually and this can slow down execution time because the order may have to wait slightly longer to get a counterparty. The end result is ECN brokers have faster execution speed than STP brokers.

Is blue wave trading a scam? Replied 3 months ago - I would say it depends on where you are resident. In the UK, blue wave trading would require a FCA license to sell any investment robot and if they do not have it, then they would be operating illegally.

That being said, there are some reputable brokers like Tickmill that give a $30 no-deposit bonus.
