does Trading 212 require same minimum deposit for investors & traders?
Replied 5 days ago -
1.Invest / Stocks Account (for long-term investing)
You can start with as little as €1 / £1 / $1.
This account is used for buying and holding real stocks and ETFs.
2.CFD / Trading Account (forex, commodities, indices, leveraged products)
The minimum deposit is higher, commonly around €10 / £10 / $10 (or equivalent).
This account type is used by traders, especially if you want to trade forex, CFDs, crypto, etc.

Do people still trade with XM? Exness is way better especially when it comes to funding your account in naira.

why do most brokers require you connect to TradingView via a raw spread account?
Replied 1 week ago -
Easy Markets lets you connect to TradingView with a standard account and they offer fixed spread with this standard account. I think Trade Nation also lets you connect to TradingView with a standard account too.

I stumbled across a warning from SEC that Nigerians trade forex at their own risk. Is forex trading legal in Nigeria? If not, what is stopping Nigerian authorities from licensing forex brokers?
Replied 2 weeks ago -
I hear SEC now regulates crypto investment & trading in Nigeria so my guess is forex trading will follow soon.

My broker often rejects my withdrawals, should I be concerned?
Replied 2 weeks ago -
I would be extremely concerned. Most brokers intentionally do all they can to discourage withdrawals. If they accepted the deposit easily, then they should process the withdrawal with equal enthusiasm. Once I notice a broker is not happy to process my withdrawals I immediately close my account and move on. I would rather be safe than sorry.

High minimum withdrawal with brokers: how to bypass it
Replied 3 weeks ago -
The brokers have found out this loop hole so they now check where you are resident. For instance if the broker sees you are resident in Nigeria and you open a ZAR account, they will increase the minimum deposit. A good example is the broker Trade Nation that has been discussed here, their minimum deposit for South African residents is 50 ZAR but if a Nigerian opens a ZAR account they immediately increase the minimum deposit to 500 ZAR
