But is this an actual trade? If it is you should post the MetaTrader entry screenshot

I'm still holding my US30 buys I took earlier in the morning.
Entry: 52148
SL:5295
The bullish momentum has kicked in, and I'll be holding till 6pm to see how the current 4hr candle will close.

Remember risk management is very important

Definitely. That's why I'm staying alert.
I'm watching out for a reaction at the 52730 External resistance price level.
That's an Exit level for me to take profit and wait. If price breaks and retest, then I'll join again.

Price reacted at the 52704-price region like I suspected and retraced down to 52404.
On LTF, the 52404-price level will likely hold the retracement, and price will continue the rally from that price level.
I took profit, but still following up the trade setup.
Exit price: 52571

At least the trade has helped you increase your profits for the day

Yeah, it has. I'm just trading the account with a compounding mindset. I don't need to be hitting big figures per trade but accumulate small figures in multiple positions to reach the big figure.
Like today, 5 positions of US30 on 0.05 lot size and risk of $100 per trade, gave above $200 in profit.
$200 * 5 = $1,000. This method helps to calm my emotions compared to using one big lot size in a single position which is less effective for me because I like to give my SL breathing space.

Knowing what works for you personally as a trader is a good hack to building a sound psychology and risk management especially when you have to face the market every day.

US30 Daily Update (Fri 23rd Oct 2026)
Trend: Bullish
Bias: Bullish
Technical Outlook: Bullish Ascending Channel
Intraday Analysis: Price is still confined to the Bullish ascending channel it created within the week.
However, it is reacting at a key resistance level and has not found the strength to break above it but rather retreating downwards for a bullish zone to gather momentum and continue the impulse move.
